About
In small ensembles, young musicians learn to listen to each other, share a phrase, and find their voice. KCYCM brings that experience to musicians ages 7 to 18, along with adult learners, through weekly coaching with professional faculty, public concerts, and community performances across the Kansas City area. Under Artistic Director Dr. Jacob Clewell, and as a partner program of the Music Academy of Kansas City, we help students grow as collaborators, leaders, and performers. Need-based scholarships help students join ensembles regardless of family income.

Admission is complimentary. If you’d like, a donation of any size supports need-based scholarships so more young musicians can take part.
